Traki in Sassnitz

The fish platter was very tasty, as were the vegetables. We received a warm welcome with our small dog. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere here There is an extra star 🌟 for this

Very nice staff. We would quickly be served extremely kindly. Although we returned shortly before the end of the day. The dishes are based on Bulgarian cuisine and adapted for the average German. Very tasty and highly recommended. We'd love to come back here.

I would love to not give a single star here. I was there with my girlfriend, everyone's food was tasteless, we had to ask twice about salt and pepper. Really ask me where the good reviews come from.

Wanted to try the Bulgarian cuisine at the end of the holiday. Were more than disappointed. The meat was lukewarm, the vegetables cold and the fries, which we had chosen instead of the potatoes, were charged with a separate portion. The potatoes were of course not served. When we made the waitress aware of this, she became unfriendly and said that she would only give us one dish, we had eaten the other together. The restaurant is definitely out of the question for us and we won't recommend it to anyone.

I always try to broaden my own horizons and also like to try something new, so we wanted to try and get to know Bulgarian cuisine here. Since most of the things on the menu were unknown to us, we opted for a cold starter platter with local products, a tomato soup, a meat skewer with salad and french fries and a bean dish. I cannot judge how these dishes usually taste or should taste in Bulgaria, so this is my / our personal impression. The starter platter with cheese, sausage and grilled vegetables was really delicious. The cheese is probably not for everyone because it is a bit strict / spicy. The tomato soup was delicious but took some getting used to because it was relatively heavily sweetened for a soup and the tomato taste was a bit subtle. The very nicely prepared meat skewer with different types of meat, peppers and onions was delicious, I personally found the meat to be rather poorly seasoned. The fries were in the deep fryer for far too long or were fried a second time - dried out, hard. The bean dish was similar to a soup with very dominant spices. Wasn't our taste. Price / performance is OK in our opinion. In terms of taste, I wouldn't eat here again. Isn't my kitchen. The tables on the street could be much bigger if you offer them for 4 people.

We have been to the Traki several times and have never been disappointed. The meat skewer was delicious again this time and the staff is always very friendly. Although it was really full yesterday, everyone tried very hard and we were full and satisfied afterwards. :)

I do not understand how such a shop can hold up there, and also where the positive reviews come from. First you wait forever for the food, the rude staff keep putting you off that it is normal to wait so long when you want freshly prepared food and then you get food, and I consciously say food that is not even expected in the shabbiest canteen becomes. It is sad that the explicit place there is leased to such charlatans

I rarely write reviews, but I just have to "warn" here. Right from the start just unfriendly wait staff, you felt really bad, ignored and out of place. We then waited 1 1/2 hours for our food! We then devoured the game goulash without game (but with Kasseler). The bill was then again a long time coming ... As walk-in customers, we had unfortunately not looked at the reviews beforehand ...

First of all: We thought it was good! We were informed in advance that we would like to eat about 45 minutes. have to wait. Reason: everything is freshly prepared. To the tasty bul. Eisbein gave add sauerkraut if you wish. The tartar plate could have been a little more meat. Very nice service. I cannot understand the criticism of the sanitary facilities that was often expressed in previous reviews for the men's area.

Best restaurant on the promenade! I'm there almost every day and eat my fill! The food tastes delicious, the service is friendly and nice and the wait doesn't take more than 10 minutes, even with large customers! Really great! I can only recommend it!

The restaurant visit starts with a more than unfriendly comment! Furthermore, you have to fight a lot with several mosquitoes, should you decide to eat outside! In summary not to be recommended!

The atmosphere is great. The food was okay but it didn't blow me away. Was very little seasoned. Unfortunately had to wait a long time.

The chicken skewer was tasty. Schnitzel with paprika was unfortunately disastrous. Completely mushy pepper strips. That was only warmed up and is therefore a joke. It is surprising that the restaurant received 3.8 out of 5 stars.

Okay, the food was tasty. But there can be no question of plenty of portions. The staff is, apart from two waitresses, not friendly and apparently overwhelmed with 4 families to remember the orders, so unfortunately one person stayed with us hungry at the table. (Uh, when we wanted to pay, there was a meal in the kitchen. "Great") There must be no such thing in a restaurant in this location and price range. Then employee training should also be carried out so that the staff can provide information about the dishes and their preparation. Literally from a waitress "I don't know what's not on the menu." Regarding the style of clothing, a lady probably does not think it is necessary to adapt to the conditions of a restaurant and works here with street clothes (topic hygiene 😑). All in all, the first and last visit to this restaurant. Too bad that our expectations could not be met.

Slow service, mediocre food.

Unfortunately the food was not that great. Fish was hidden under a lot of sauce and the potatoes were from the previous day, just warmed up. All in all ... price-performance ratio is wrong.

Nice and cosy place with good food. They only charged for tap water, and gave the reason that they charge for everything when they can. Because of that, giving 2 stars.

Very rude and poor service. The premises and especially the toilets were not clean and not well maintained. Absolutely not dog friendly. The food was not fresh in my opinion, which I also said, whereupon I was portrayed as ridiculous what I could think of to say. No recommendation!!!

Friendly service. Good value for money. Quality was ok. Good portions.

The waitress was very unpolite I had to order things several times and she was giving them to me as if it was a favour, then we stayed there for 3 hours working but consuming stuff all the time and the kick us out saying that we stayed for 6 hours. Food was also with no flavour, we did not even got salt and it was very expensive. Not recommended at all

There is food for every taste. Both German and Bulgarian food and seafood. Great location with sea view.

Very friendly owner and tasty food. Highly recommended. But little bit expensive. For example - 22 euro for this plate.

Pretty amazing food.. With vegan options, the location is also nice. Really close to the beach and national park. Great for a bite after relaxing on the beach.

Very delicious food!

As is normal in life, something's gotta give. In this case, the Traki Restaurant will not be one of the many happy memories from our holiday in Rügen. From a Bulgarian restaurant, I was hoping for an explosion of flavour, but of the dishes ordered, only the Bulgarian schnitzel was - only mildly - on the savoury side. The rest can be easily forgotten, though not the prices of the food, that are comparable with markedly better establishments in Sassnitz.
